Eddie Watson does not preach messages that "tickle the ears". His preaching is anointed by God. As a result, sinners are convicted of sin and saints are stirred to service. Rarely have I witnessed Eddie preach without seeing God bring souls to salvation as a result. Because Eddie is gifted both for evangelism and singing, I strongly encourage you to use him for your special music and concerts as well.

As a pastor, I know you struggle over who to "turn loose" on the flock that you care for. I have complete confidence in Eddie Watson. The message of salvation is needed as much in the twenty-first century as it was in the twentieth century.  We look forward to the future; however, we need to hear the "Old Time Religion" message.  Dr. Watson has been called to bring that message in both sermon and song.  It is my opinion that Dr. Watson has the Spiritual Gifts of preaching and praising.  I also believe he has the conviction, personality and skills to lead people of all ages to Christ as Savior.  His "Old Time Religion" messages appeal to young as well as mature congregations.  Dr. Watson will be an asset to any church who calls him as their pastor or to serve their church in any capacity.

Eddie understands the real world and the problems people face every day.  I truly appreciate the fact that he knows what it means to work for a living, to have experienced hard times, and yet trust in The Lord.  His book, "From The Pig Pen To The Pulpit", is a tremendous testimony using the story of the Prodigal Son.  I had him in revival this past February second through the fifth at First Baptist Church, Moore, SC; our church is still in revival!  The Lord used Eddie to open our eyes to many things that most church members take for granted.  Twenty people were saved and many other decisions for Christian service were made.  The Lord has blessed him with a special form of blending music, down home humor, and the Gospel in a way that ministers to young and old alike.  He is a man that follows The Lord's leading and not his own agenda.

I strongly recommend Eddie to any church or group who is serious about revival, evangelism, and just plain old leading people to Jesus!  I count him as a brother and fellow soldier in Christ, along with being a close personal friend.

I would like to say a few words about brother Eddie.  The Lord brought Eddie to Idaho to minister to the people in this area.  We were in need of revival and the Lord brought it through Eddie.  The love of God and Christ centered ness was shown by the Holy Spirit in music and preaching.  Eddie told me if I needed him he would drop everything and come back.  That is love and sacrifice, the kind that can only come by an intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus.  Eddie is a true fisher of men.  He'll bring out the best the Lord has to offer if you call Eddie.  He's a blessing wherever he goes.  I highly recommend him.
