Eddie Watson, his wife Tammie, and daughter Michelle reside in Clay County, Georgia, where Eddie has farmed and raised purebred swine for the biggest portion of his life.

Eddie graduated from Clay County High School in 1974 and attended Abraham Baldwin Agriculture College in Tifton, GA for 2 years.  He then returned home and joined his father in their farming operation.

Eddie attended church all his life and joined Shiloh Baptist Church at the age of 12 but there was something missing.  He was unsure of his salvation.  In 1996 he realized he had not been truly trusting Christ as Lord and Savior.

Eddie gave his life to Christ and accepted the call of the ministry.  Eddie was licensed by his church to preach in 1998 and accepted to Southern Baptist School of Biblical Studies in Jacksonville, Florida.  Southern Baptist School was formed out of Luther Rice Seminary and is one of the nation's leading and oldest schools for off-campus studies.  Eddie received a doctorate of Christian Ministry Degree in April of 2002 and all the honor and glory goes to God.  During his doctoral studies, Eddie penned a book, "From the Pigpen to the Pulpit".  While he is listed as the author, Eddie gives all the credit to God.  He does not claim to be a song writer, but yet Eddie has written several Gospel songs and has recorded numerous Gospel tapes and CD's.

Eddie is the president of Eddie Watson Ministries, a non-profit, tax-exempt, evangelistic ministry for the spreading of the Gospel.  All proceeds and gifts go into the ministry.  He considers himself fortunate that he has been able to lead revivals from South Carolina to Missouri, and even as far west as Idaho.

Eddie has farmed, raised purebred hogs, and show pigs most all of his life. He has also tried his hand in the rodeo arena, riding bulls and bareback horses. Now instead of riding for the rodeo or riding to show hogs at a stock show, he is riding the roads for Jesus. When not on the road Eddie and his family can still be found at the farm where Clay Hill Hunting Lodge and Clay Hill Hunting Preserve is located. Not only is the lodge filled with antiques and hunting paraphernalia, but, it also contains bibles, Eddie's Gospel recordings, and copies of his book. We don't want to miss a chance to reach people for Jesus.
